It is one of the earlier departments, which has the rights of granting master degree. Students ( including Overseas students) are welcome in the 30+ majors including musicology, composition, vocal, keyboard, musical education, Chinese traditional instruments, musical translation, etc. The department is now applying for the rights of granting doctor degree.
